Loan Officer
We're looking for a motivated, licensed Loan Officer to join the NewTrust Mortgage team. With over 25 years of combined mortgage experience, our leadership team is in your corner — you'll never have to fight for a deal on your own. You'll work directly with clients to evaluate their financial needs, guide them through the mortgage process, and close loans efficiently. Whether you prefer working remotely or from our Brenham office, we offer the flexibility and seasoned support to back every deal you bring in.
Responsibilities
- Originate and process residential mortgage loans
- Build and maintain relationships with referral partners and clients
- Guide borrowers through the loan application and approval process
- Stay current on loan programs, guidelines, and market conditions
- Collaborate with processors, underwriters, and the operations team
Compensation
- Tiered compensation beginning at 160 bps to 225 bps depending on monthly production
- Company 401(k) program with company matching up to 3%
- CRM and marketing materials provided
Qualifications
- Active NMLS license required
- 1+ years of mortgage origination experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Experience with wholesale or retail lending platforms a plus
